Dance Skills

Carisbrook School has been a keen participant in 'Dancing like the Stars' programme in previous years. If the opportunity arises we will definitely participate in this activity again. Indian Classical Dance: Swaroopa Unni from the *Natyaloka* School of Indian Classical Dance trained up a group of enthusiastic Year 5-8 students in this form of traditional Indian dance. The students were very enthusiastic and had been practising several times a week in preparation for their performance. Irish Dancing: We had a keen group of students who had taken up the challenge of learning Irish dancing and rehearsed regularly for the 'Dancing like the Stars' performance. We had the expertise of Irish dance teacher Kathryn Olcott to train up our Carisbrook School Irish dancers
